If you believe PVUMC Preschool would be a good fit for your child and family, welcome! We invite you to read the registration information located at the side of this page.

We accept applications from all families, regardless of ethnic or religious background. For children currently enrolled at PVUMC Preschool, registration begins in February for the next school year beginning in August. For all other children, registration takes place throughout the year.

Once the preschool has received your child’s application and $35 non-refundable processing fee, we will add your child’s name to our list of prospective students. Next, when an appropriate class has space available, we will contact you and request the full registration fee. We are happy to secure your child’s space in his or her classroom once we have received the full registration fee. You will hear from the preschool again in April when your August/May tuition is due for the upcoming school year.

Processing fees, registration fees and all tuition fees are non-refundable and may not be applied toward anything else.

Starting in August
Toward the end of July, you will receive the Paradise Valley United Methodist Church Preschool Summer Gazette, which will contain Open House information and pertinent information for the start of the preschool year.

Enrolling During the Year
When spaces become available during the year, we look at our prospective student list.  Keeping in mind your request for days, your child’s age and the make-up of the class, the preschool will contact you if an appropriate space becomes available.

Placement Priorities
Priority is determined by the date that the preschool application is received and processed by the preschool director for that individual child. Preschool placement priority for children who wish to attend the preschool, are as follows:

Children and/or legal dependents of PVUMC Preschool contracted employees
Children and/or legal dependents of PVUM Church employees
     Returning students
PVUMC members (as defined by PVUMC)
     Siblings of returning students
     Siblings of former students
All others on the wait list

The preschool director working in conjunction with the preschool executive board could waive the above policies.
